PDM Audit Project
Our PDM Audit is intended to improve the format of the specifications and attribute structure. Most of the categories are being revisited, starting with the most popular ones. There are potential concerns with this project we need to make our customers aware of:
  • The project entails massive redistributions of SKUs.
  • Some searchable attributes will be deactivated.
  • The format of specifications will be changed significantly. The specifications will not just be improved, but they will look different.

Categories finished in April:

  • Reference Material (HA)
  • Training Courses (HB)

Categories currently in progress or planned for May:

  • Repeaters & Transceivers (FD)
  • Network Accessories (FJ)
  • Antennas (MA)
New Version of ACC
A new version of ACC (ACC 17.5) was released on May 2nd.

The current (ACC 17.5) and the previous (ACC 17.2) category tree structures and migration map are available as separate file, tabs "ACC 17.2", "ACC 17.5", "Migration map" respectively.
New Version of EU ECCN
A new version of EU ECCN (EU ECCN 17.4) was released on April 25th.

The previous version was upgraded to support extended ECCN codes (5-digit ECCN codes with additional suffixes).
Attributes Modifications
List of performed modifications of all attributes due to its length is separated into an Excel spreadsheet - Addendum. The spreadsheet contains both performed and planned modifications on sheets "Performed modification" and "Planned modifications" correspondingly.

Attributes Deactivation Feed
The following links are feeds which include all searchable attributes, both active and deactivated. This will allow DataSource customers to see what attributes have changed, and to check if these changes have been properly reflected within their databases. This feed is available in two different file formats: Excel and tab-delimited text.

The feed can be downloaded using the following links:
A covering document is also available. It describes the feed purpose and usage guidelines: Attribute_Deactivation_Feed.pdf

NOTE: The feed does not include searchable attributes which were deactivated prior to January 1, 2010.
