New UNSPSC Version
CNET Content Solutions migrated to the new version  (v21.0901) on January 22nd.

New Version of ACC
New version of ACC (ACC 19.2) will be released on February 18th.
The current (ACC 18.8) and the future (ACC 19.2) category tree structures and migration map are available as separate file, tabs "ACC 19.2", "ACC 18.8", "Migration Map" respectively.
PDM Audit Project
Our PDM Audit is intended to improve the format of the specifications and attribute structure. Most of the categories are being revisited, starting with the most popular ones. There are potential concerns with this project we need to make our customers aware of:
  • The project entails massive redistributions of SKUs.
  • Some searchable attributes will be deactivated.
  • The format of specifications will be changed significantly. The specifications will not just be improved, but they will look different.

Categories finished in December:

  • Mobile Phones (PB)

Categories currently in progress or planned in January:

  • Speakers (KD)

Attributes Modification
List of performed modifications of all attributes due to its length is separated into an Excel spreadsheet - Addendum. The spreadsheet contains both performed and planned modifications on sheets "Performed modification" and "Planned modifications" correspondingly.

Example of the attributes to be modified:

Cat ID JD
Category Cameras & Digital Cameras
Attr ID A11490
Attribute Video Input / Native ISO
Searchable* Yes
Date 29-November-2018
* - status of the attribute after the modification
** - to remove status “searchable” from an attribute (replacement attribute list is available in Addendum).
*** - to deactivate an attribute from a category, the attribute is no longer used for capturing information
Attributes Deactivation Feed
The following links are feeds which include all searchable attributes, both active and deactivated. This will allow DataSource customers to see what attributes have changed, and to check if these changes have been properly reflected within their databases. This feed is available in two different file formats: Excel and tab-delimited text.

The feed can be downloaded using the following links:
A covering document is also available. It describes the feed purpose and usage guidelines: Attribute_Deactivation_Feed.pdf

NOTE: The feed does not include searchable attributes which were deactivated prior to January 1, 2010.
