Alternative Searchable Attributes
Alternative Searchable Attributes are intended to simplify and improve integration of CNET's regular searchable attributes delivered to our customers in the cds_Atr table.
Available to all qualifying DataSource customers in all supported languages at no additional cost
Updated monthly (updates are announced in the DataSource Technical Bulletins)
Optional - Not required for DataSource integration
Available as a separate stand-alone feed not incorporated into your regular download.zip and is not currently supported by CNET ContentConnector
The Alternative Searchable Attributes feed is now available to all of our DataSource customers via our Customer Extranet Site (login credentials are required).

Translations of alternative searchable attribute names to all DataSource supported languages
Identification of searchable attributes recommended for parametric search and comparison
Recommended searchable attributes for each of level 4 Alternative CNET Categories
Display order of searchable attributes
Attribute value ranges for numeric searchable attributes (e.g. Clock Speed or Hard Drive size)
What's in the Box?
The What's in the Box component provides a list of the accessories and options bundled together under a single part number. CNET provided What's in the Box data for many years, but as this component used to be populated mainly based on manufacturer feeds, the coverage was not very high.
We have now made an effort to collect What's in the Box information separately for many hardware and CE categories.

- Optional - Not required for DataSource integration
- Delivered in our regular download.zip in media type 10 within digital content
- Supported by ContentConnector
